Before you visit
What is Excelsior Social?
Excelsior Social is a neighborhood café and gathering place at 304 Water Street. Everyone is welcome during public Social Hours, while membership adds expanded daily access and additional perks.
Do I need to be a member?
No. Everyone is welcome during public Social Hours Wednesday through Sunday. Monday and Tuesday are reserved for members. Plan your visit.
What are the public Social Hours?

Where are you located?
304 Water Street in downtown Excelsior, one block from Excelsior Bay. Free private parking is behind the building. See directions and parking.
What food and drinks are available?
Expect coffee, soda, refreshers, specialty drinks and an easy café-style selection of bagels, pastries, sandwiches, pizza and snacks. We are not presenting ourselves as a full-service restaurant kitchen.

Membership
What hours do members have access?
Members have access from 6 AM to midnight every day.
What does membership include?
Membership includes expanded daily access, complimentary coffee and soda, complimentary pool-table use, member golf pricing and access to member-only options. Benefits vary by plan. Compare memberships.
Can members bring guests?
Yes. During member-only access periods, eligible guests are $5 each and guest access is limited monthly.
Which membership is required for children?
Members with children under 18 need a Crew membership. Crew covers up to four members; contact us for larger-family options.
Is there a setup fee or long contract?
There is a one-time $25 setup fee per membership. Standard memberships are month-to-month with 30 days’ notice to cancel.

Games + golf
How much is the golf simulator?
Members pay $65/hour. Non-members pay $75/hour before 5 PM and $95/hour after 5 PM. The private room accommodates up to six people, with up to four playing. See golf details.
Do we need to bring golf clubs?
Please bring your own clubs. The simulator uses Garmin technology and is designed for both casual rounds and practice.
How much is the pool table?
Pool-table use is complimentary for members and $10/hour for non-members.
What other games are available?
Depending on availability, you can play ping pong, cards, mahjong, tabletop games and puzzles. Explore ways to play.

Kids Club
What is Kids Club?
Kids Club is an occasional member amenity with supervised creative activities for school-age children. It is not drop-off childcare.
Can parents leave the building?
No. At least one parent or responsible adult must remain inside Excelsior Social while a child participates.
Who can participate?
Kids Club is for children in kindergarten and older and requires a Crew membership.
How much does it cost?
Kids Club is a $20 monthly add-on per child. Sessions may last up to three hours, and programming is offered at least monthly. Learn about Kids Club.

Events + meetings
Do you host private events?
Yes. Our 1,113-square-foot private event space is available for birthdays, showers, dinners, corporate gatherings and workshops.
How much does the private event space cost?
The private event space is $275/hour. Meeting-room rental starts at $75/hour, depending on the setup and food or beverage selections.
What is included?
The space offers a private entrance, flexible furniture, TV and audio, a private kitchenette and commercial prep-kitchen access for approved caterers. Explore the event space.

Hideaway + Locker Lounge
What is The Hideaway?
The Hideaway is a convenient lower-level home base for bikes, paddleboards and grab-and-go seasonal gear. It is $60/month or $150 quarterly.
What is Locker Lounge?
Locker Lounge provides more room for seasonal, sports, holiday and larger personal items. It is $225/month, $625 quarterly or $2,250 annually.
How do I access the lower level?
Access is available from the front or back of the building. The rear drive-in garage makes loading and unloading easier, especially in Minnesota weather.
Do you offer commercial mailboxes?
Commercial-style mailboxes are $50/month with a three-month minimum paid in advance, plus a $50 one-time registration fee. Availability is limited. Compare all three options.
